Celebrate World Bee Day in the heart of Perth!
Join us on 20 May at Murray Street Mall to celebrate the incredible honey bee—our vital pollinator and a true hero of food security around the world.
This special event brings together key organisations from across the WA bee industry:
🐝 The Bee Industry Council of WA (BICWA) – the peak body representing WA’s beekeepers and honey producers, working to support and grow a sustainable industry.
🐝 The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) Biosecurity Team – supporting WA’s strong biosecurity systems that protect our bees and the environment.
🐝 The APC Beekeepers Committee – representing WA beekeepers through the Agricultural Produce Commission, supporting industry development, promotion, and protection.
